Yellow Beach Camping Ground

There is overnight camping only at Yellow Beach, Lady Barron. Whilst you don't need to make a bookings for camping areas it's first in best dressed we do advise to check availability with the Flinders Island Parks and Wildlife Service. There is camping spots, a shaded free gas BBQ, shelter, picnic tables, water, toilets and a shower at Yellow Beach. Ideal for groups, the car park can accommodate about 20 vehicles and is popular location for kids birthday parties and local get togethers. The viewing platform, is an ideal location to look over the islands of Franklin Sound including Big Green, Vansittart, Big Dog, Little Dog and Cape Barren or west towards Lady Barron Wharf. Or wander the Yellow Beach walk about 3.5 km return which takes you along the coast back towards the boat slip and fuel depot in Lady Barron. To get there head east along Franklin Parade which becomes gravel - Pot Boil Road the Yellow Beach sign will be on your right.
