Spectacular views of the volcanic landscape of Warrumbungle National Park await you at Whitegum lookout. Be sure to take a hamper or thermos flask with you, there are picnic tables where you can enjoy a picnic or cuppa while taking in the view and snapping some photographs. It is a 500 metres stroll from the carpark to Whitegum lookout along a sealed pathway. Although there is a slight incline, the path is suitable for wheelchairs and prams and it is an easy walk for children.
