The Stone House offers beautiful heritage B&B accommodation in Perth, Tasmania, overlooking the South Esk River. Five bedrooms accommodate up to five couples, to enjoy luxurious amenities and continental breakfast baskets. The Stone House can also be rented as a whole house as a self-contained stay option. All stays have a minimum of two nights. All rooms have King or Queen sized beds. The Stone House is reminiscent of Old England with beautiful Georgian architecture, French windows and a stunning fanlight entrance. The manicured English gardens have seating throughout to marvel at the surroundings. The house was built by convicts, in 1825, for Reverend John Youl, the first Tasmanian clergyman to serve the northern Tasmanian community, so history abounds in this stately old home. Enjoy the delights of Tasmanian wines and fine produce in front of the open fire; swim in the in-ground pool; enjoy the outdoor spa; grab a book and find a cosy corner in the conservatory or out in the garden.
