Stratford On The River Tourist Park is a small, family run tourist park situated approximately three hours from Melbourne at the beginning of the Gippsland Lakes region. All visitors are welcome to the park, with a range of accommodation to suit all budgets, large shaded powered sites, budget through to two bedroom cabins with water views. The park is pet friendly and set within four acres of well maintained grounds on the banks of the Avon River. The amenities are immaculately clean and are enhanced by a well appointed camp-kitchen complete with television, microwave, fridge and heater that adds warmth in the cooler evenings. The barbecue and eating area together with a number of open fireplaces make wonderful meeting areas and a playground for younger children is sited close at hand. Situated at the start of the Gippsland Rail Trail, free access the adjoining council swimming pool when open and plenty of national parks near by there is plenty for our more energetic guests to keep busy. Stratford on the River Tourist Park is a five minute stroll from the centre of town, offering the delights of the local bakery, cafes, gift shops and the Stratford Courthouse Theatre and Gallery.
