Cherries - Cherries - Cherries direct from the tree!! Pick your own cherries for a great fun morning out with friends and family or buy them freshly picked and packed. The flavour direct from the orchard is amazing. They open their family farm to you on weekend mornings in season 8am - 1pm. Late November - mid December. Fruit ripeness depends on the seasonal weather, so the exact dates can vary each year, the first two weekends in December are most reliable each year. They have five varieties of cherries: Samba, Simone, Rons, Vans and Black Star. Their trees are pruned to keep them short making picking easy and fun for children and adults. Bring your own bucket or bags to take cherries home, or they also have boxes for sale. An esky to keep your cherries fresh is a great idea if you are travelling far or plan to stop on the way home. Cherries will keep longest if they are picked in the freshness of the morning, plan to come early if you can. You may like to travel to Mudgee the day before to enjoy the region and come to pick cherries early in morning.
