Otway Estate Winery and Brewery occupies a forest clearing in the northern foothills of the Otway ranges, 10 minutes south of Colac. Set amidst the backdrop of native eucalypts, the estate is home to a winery, brewery, function centre and café, as well as three self-contained spa cottages. The cellar door and Prickly Moses brewery outlet is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Visitors can taste a range of beers, ciders and wines produced at the estate and brewery. The large deck overlooking the dam is a lovely way to soak up the serenity of the Otways, and in the cooler months people can warm themselves by the fire inside. The self-contained spa cottages offer a peaceful getaway, with views overlooking the bush and the vines. All cottages enjoy a sense of privacy, a relaxing spa, their own deck, a well-equipped kitchen and undercover parking. Otway Estate is also a dog-friendly location, and welcomes well behaved canines on leash. Offering an excellent conference and function facility, Otway Estate is also available for special events, conferences, weddings and group bookings.
