Nest is a licensed cafe restaurant, boutique armchair cinema and beautiful bookstore with gifts and produce, all in one cosy space in the Snowy mountains foothills. Eat and drink from a creative seasonal menu grown in the Nest food garden and nearby orchards, vineyards, mountain streams and paddocks. Linger, be inspired by film, books, conversation, food, garden and the wonder of Tumbarumbas majestic surrounds. The historical building originally a Masonic Lodge, has been converted to a thriving community hub full of culture and conversation. A small Local Produce & Handmade Market is held every third Saturday morning of the month on the lawns out front while in the backyard, a food garden is being tended to supply the cafe. Experience the 26 seat cinema with full dining service made easy while you watch with tables and wonderful mountain hospitality. Matinee films screen daily, Friday and Saturday nights and other times by arrangement. Group bookings welcome. Nest specialises in custom events whether its a picnic party, Sugar Pine wedding, pizza banquet or private dinner and movie. Serving up big breakfasts, lazy lunches, gourmet pizzas, seasonal dinner features and their famous sweets all baked inhouse, Nest is a destination on it's own.
