Hunter Valley Vintage Wings provide safe, exciting flying experiences in two 1940s Tigermoth's, and a rare 1941 Boeing Stearman. All three were used to train WW2 pilots thoughout the 1940s. The aircraft have undergone extensive ground up restoration's and are in immaculate flying condition. Recognised by the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia, winning various awards at National Level including "Best Biplane", "Best Tigermoth Restoration" and "Grand Champion". Also available for flights and capable of taking three passengers is an Australian designed and built, 1956 Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation "Winjeel", number 27 of 62 built. Other significant wartime aircraft also on display include a North American Harvard mk4 and two modern aircraft including the most powerful Pitts Special in Australia, a radial engined Pitts 12 aerobatic biplane and 500+kph Glassair, which, children affectionately refer to as "Ripslinger" after a character in the Disney "PLANES" movie.
