Hinchinbrook Day Tours

Description:

There is a lot to experience in this area. Waterfalls, including the highest single drop water fall in Australia and diverse rainforest, the oldest in the world. Most of the rainforest drives take place on scenic mountain drives and feature huge ferns, unique trees and still undiscovered plants. Animal life in the forest consists of cassowary, pythons, tree kangaroos, dingoes and platypus. The rivers and creeks have bountiful amounts of fish and crocodiles. Seeing cane harvested for the first time is always a popular experience and the history of sugar is very interesting. There are a number of attractions around the town that they are always glad to show visitors. This is not a formal "do it by the clock" set of tours, if you want to stop to photograph anything of interest or have a look at something and perhaps spend extra time swimming, that is fine with them.
