Coonalpyn Soldiers Memorial Caravan Park

Description:

The Coonalpyn Caravan Park (also known as the Coonalpyn Soldiers Memorial Caravan Park) is a perfect spot to rest while you're on the busy Adelaide to Melbourne route. It has everything you need near by: a nice playground with a 'Hoopinator', a BMX Track, seasonal swimming pool, BBQ area and a nice pic-nic spot from where you can view the silos (which were painted by renowned artist Guido van Helten in February 2017). The Caravan park is close to the post office, bakery, petrol station and the pub for a great counter meal. There are also many public art projects for you to explore in and around Coonalpyn. There are 22 powered sites, and 20 (or more) unpowered sites (depending on areas needed). There is also a cabin with En-suite, w/ BW TV, double bed, futon, fridge and cooking faculties. The Caravan Park is also pet friendly and RV friendly - so special discounts apply for unpowered sites only. The caretaker is on and off the site, so if he is not there when you arrive please use the honesty box by the disabled toilet!
