Departing Dubbo, this is a small group Tagalong Tour featuring the famous Birdsville Races. Suitable for Caravan, Camper Trailers, Campers, Motorhomes. Off-road capability is not required as they travel mainly on bitumen roads. Travelling 5600 kilometres through Outback NSW and QLD over 30 days and visiting 40+ towns and villages. The Highlight of the trip will be the World Famous Birdsville Cup Racing Carnival held on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 September 2017. Watch as the small town of 115 people grows to around 7,000 as tourists from all parts of Australia and around the world converge for the races. Enjoy the support, company and security that group travelling offers. Self-catered and staying in the best available Caravan Park each night. The tour departs and returns to Dubbo NSW. They travel via: Dubbo, Lightning Ridge*, St George, Roma*, Emerald, Charters Towers*, Hughenden, Julia Creek, Cloncurry, Mt Isa*, Boulia, Birdsville**, Winton, Longreach*, Barcaldine, Blackall, Charleville, Cunnamulla, Bourke, Nyngan, Dubbo and all villages in between. *two night stay - **five night stay. Plenty of time to see the local attractions. Good times with good friends and good memories created. No pets due to Caravan Park restrictions.
