Birding South West

Description:

Birding South West conducts guided bird watching tours in the South West of Western Australia, focusing on the many endemic species of the region. The South West region of Western Australia is home to more than 250 bird species, 15 of which, including five parrots and cockatoos, are endemic to the South West; that is they are found nowhere else in the world. Other notable endemics include the stunningly beautiful Red-eared Firetail, the Red-winged Fairy-Wren and the White-breasted Robin. Their tours range from half day tempters right through to fully accommodated 16 day expeditions, as well as personalised tours looking for particular species or to specific locations. Tailor made specialty tours are also designed and conducted for other parts of Australia and are available on request. For full and half day tours you are collected from your accommodation and taken to a number of local hotspots where host and guide, Peter Taylor, showcases the wonderful avifauna of Australia's South West. All tours include morning tea.
