Red Poles Art Gallery showcases the works of emerging and established local and South Australian artists. There is a strong emphasis on Indigenous works and regular Indigenous exhibitions and workshops will be featured throughout 2018. The art gallery features a new exhibition every six weeks and there is an eclectic mix of art on every wall. Works include paintings, drawings, mixed media, ceramics, photography, sculpture, textiles and jewellery. There are regular art workshops for watercolour, mixed media and life drawing. There are weekly children’s art class for those 12 years and younger and school holiday programs. There is a restaurant/cafe on site for morning and afternoon tea as well as lunches. Red Poles is also the cellar door for Brick Kiln Wines and Vale Brewing craft beers. Live music features every Sunday afternoon. There are three bed and breakfast rooms around an ambient courtyard for overnight and longer stays. Red Poles is featured in the Fleurieu Arts and Culture Guide and participates in events and festivals such as Fringe, SALA, Shimmer, Fleurieu Food and Wine show as part of the Fleurieu Art Prize and Sea and Vines.
