Port Noarlunga Reef Sanctuary Zone is one of eleven sanctuary zones within Encounter Marine Park. Stretching from the base of the Fleurieu Peninsula to the north-eastern coast of Kangaroo Island and the Coorong, the park provides plenty of opportunities to enjoy the diverse marine life, including some of the state's best dive spots. Port Noarlunga Reef Sanctuary Zone is one of Adelaide's favourite and most accessible spots for snorkelling. Twelve bollards have been submerged along the reef to enable divers to enjoy an underwater tour of the area, with plaques offering information on the region and animals.
