Fosterton Retreat is located 10 minutes from Dungog, nestled in the foothills of the Barrington Tops. The property of 100 acres overlooks a pristine rainforest valley and the Barrington Tops. The lodge and cabins are located conveniently to access roads, with breathtaking views across the valley to the Barrington Tops and a short stroll to the pristine "Die Happy" creek. The picnic and swimming holes along the Williams River are two kilometres drive away, and are reached via all weather roads. They are well sign posted and form part of the network of tourist drives in the area, which makes it a perfect place to take in the beauty of the area. They offer two self-contained one-bedroom spa cabins for their guests. For larger groups such as birdwatchers, painters, photographers or family and friends, homestead accommodation is available in the Lodge itself for up to 10 people.
