The town of Boggabri lies 57 kilometres South East of Narrabri and 40 kilometres North West of Gunnedah on the Newell and Kamilaroi Highways. Home to Nelson's Honey, the largest supplier of honey in New South Wales, it's a town predominantly supported by agriculture and sits on the edge of rich coal deposits in the Narrabri and Gunnedah Shire. Visit Gin's Leap, five kilometres from town, a stunning sheer rock face subject to many legends. Take a stroll down Boggabri's main street or maybe Boggabri's Historical Walk around town. Boggabri is a small town with a big community spirit and unique country lifestyle. Boggabri is also famous for it's award winning Boggabri Drovers Campfire weekend which sees the town host 400 to 500 caravans, motorhomes and camper trailers in April for a weekend of campfires, delicious camp oven meals, whip cracking, shearing demonstrations , tours to local attractions, antique machinery display, local craft and markets, night entertainment and a chance to get to know each other and the friendly locals.
